I suggested this to Kent before.

Basically, to get people onto the forums, how about when a new members signs up, it suggests them to introduce theirself, then redirects them to the introduce yourself section of the forums automatically

maybe we make it so they can only view the newbie posts until they post like 3 times - then maybe they wont be so scared of the crap posts

The older ones still have to read it all though.

Just permanently ban the members who are only here to cause aggravation. More people might come back then.

Why don't you just delete all of the post and start off clean. Keep the forums that are needed, but get rid of the out of date information. Cause I noticed that some of the forums in here can be a bit confusing to others since the information is outdated. Also you should make a "Trash talking forum" for the people to say what they have to say to others instead of finding this informaiton all over the site.

There already is one it's called "LeagueSpeak"
This is your place to talk about whats going on in your league. Always a good place for some friendly trash talk as well.

I guess some people don't understand that and then they get all bent out of shape.

Hence why you would have a seperate trash talking forum. This way those that don't want trash talking in their game, can do their best to avoid and still talk about their league.

This has been suggested before and doesn't solve the problem. All it would do would be to allow players to 'officially' verbally abuse each other and then claim it's only trash talk.

true...we're better off making them do it in pm's, or just banning them...or, if we had admins that were around regularly, you could make a trash talking forum that admins could monitor and warn/ban anyone that steps over the "friendly" trashtalking line But, basically, none of us want to hear it in the first place. I say just enforce the CoC that you guys wrote up, and actually monitor the fights, and issue warnings/bans as appropriate...but then again, that involves work. I know how much kent doesn't like to do work ...and where the funk is Jul?

I don't think this site is going to hold up much longer, bugs are not fix, server goes down every week. I doubt Jul is making enough money to cover cost. It's only a matter of time before it get's shut down for good.
